Russia's Caspian flotilla ships began exercises in the framework of the training. It is reported by the press service of the southern military district.
All at sea came out more than 50 ships and supply vessels. Among these missile ships "Tatarstan" and "Dagestan", small missile and artillery ships "Castle Sviyazhsk", "Buffalo", "Veliki Ustug (great Ustug)", "Baku", "Makhachkala", "Astrakhan" and others.
Seafarers hold a variety of exercises to prepare the ship for battle and campaign, air defence and maintenance of the struggle for survival, the press service noted.
